what we collect, and why

Privacy Policy

This site has no customer accounts or cart. Ordinary visits still create technical requests and hosting logs. Your email is sent to Kit only if you submit the free-guide form; birth and name details are not collected through this website.

1. Data controller and website administration

YourInnerPattern and its Etsy shop are owned and operated by Tamara Yefimenko, a registered individual entrepreneur (FOP) in Ukraine. She determines why and how personal data is handled for the business and is the data controller. Day-to-day website administration may be carried out by an authorized person in Germany acting on her instructions. Privacy questions can be sent through the Contact page or to innerpattern.contact@gmail.com.

2. Information this website does not ask for

YourInnerPattern's website does not ask you to create an account or enter payment, name, birth date, birth time or birth place information. Details needed for personalized readings are entered through Etsy's checkout and personalization tools, not through this website. Synastry uses birth details for two people, so only provide information you are comfortable sharing for that purpose.

3. Website hosting and technical logs

The site is hosted and delivered by Netlify. When a page or file is requested, Netlify may process technical request data such as the requested address, IP address, browser or user-agent information, date and time, response status and related security or performance information. These logs are used to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site. YourInnerPattern does not use them for advertising or to build profiles about individual visitors. Netlify controls its own infrastructure-level retention and security practices; see Netlify's privacy statement.

4. External content delivery

Some pages request software files from the external content-delivery service unpkg.com. As with any web request, that service can receive ordinary technical request data such as an IP address, browser information, requested file and timestamp. This connection is used to display site navigation and page components, not by YourInnerPattern for advertising or visitor analytics.

5. The free Your Big Three signup

If you submit the free Your Big Three form, the email address you enter is sent directly to Kit, the email service used to deliver the guide and occasional YourInnerPattern emails. The form does not ask for a name or birth details. Kit may also process technical request information, including an IP address, and may use security or anti-abuse cookies when the form is submitted or its confirmation pages are opened. Signing up is optional. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also request deletion through the Contact page. YourInnerPattern does not sell the email address. See Kit's privacy policy and Kit's GDPR information.

6. Optional website analytics and your choice

YourInnerPattern uses Umami Cloud only after you select Allow analytics. Before that choice, the Umami tracker is not downloaded and no analytics request is sent. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, Umami remains disabled even if an earlier choice allowed analytics.

When allowed, Umami records page visits and three limited types of action: opening the complete sample PDF, following a product link to Etsy and making a valid attempt to submit the free-guide form. The free-guide event does not confirm that Kit created a subscription or delivered an email. YourInnerPattern does not send names, email addresses, birth details, order details, form values, free text, URL search parameters or URL fragments to Umami.

The limited analytics data may include the page path and title, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, language, screen size, approximate location and timestamp. According to Umami, an IP address may be processed transiently to derive approximate location but is not stored. The Umami Cloud account uses the EU data region and the Hobby plan retains analytics data for six months. Umami Software, Inc. acts as a processor under its Data Processing Agreement and may use its listed subprocessors in the EU and USA.

Umami is configured without analytics cookies, to exclude URL search parameters and fragments, to respect Do Not Track and not to assign a persistent visitor identifier in your browser. This site stores one first-party localStorage choice, yip.analytics-consent.v1, only to remember whether you allowed or declined optional analytics.

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis for Umami analytics is your consent under Article 6(1)(a). You may withdraw or change that choice at any time below. Withdrawal stops future analytics on this browser but does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

Checking your saved analytics choice…

The homepage does not load Kit's embedded script; the browser sends a request to Kit only when you submit the form. Kit and other external services may then use cookies or similar technologies as described in their own policies.

7. What happens on Etsy

Every purchase happens on Etsy, under Etsy's own privacy policy, which governs any information you provide during checkout — including payment details and, for personalized reports, your birth details. YourInnerPattern only receives what Etsy shows a seller for order fulfillment (typically your order details and the personalization field you filled in) and uses it solely to prepare and deliver your report. Read Etsy's privacy policy on etsy.com for how Etsy itself handles your data.

8. Contact and messages

If you email YourInnerPattern or message the Etsy shop, that message and the information you choose to include in it (such as an order number) are used only to answer your question. Messages are not added to a mailing list unless you separately sign up for Your Big Three, and are not shared with third parties.

9. Children

This site and its products are intended for adults and are not directed at children. YourInnerPattern does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site or its tools change. The version published on this page is the one that applies.

11. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent through the Contact page or the Etsy shop.
